Correct Method for Burning Pillar Beeswax Candles

Properly burning beeswax pillars assists in an even and complete burn of your pillar candle, so that you don’t have a lot of waste or unused wax at the end. Essentially, you want to ensure that you maintain an even, flat candle top as it burns, this is done by gently pushing in the wax towards the centre when you have a centre of molten wax and the outer area is malleable. Also, keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4″ is optimal for burning the candles slowly and evenly to maximize the life of the candle.

Burning time according to candle height:

3″ approx 60 hours
4″ approx 70 – 90 hours
6″ approx 90 – 105 hours
9″ approx 140 – 150 hours

Caution

Beeswax candles burn longer, hotter and brighter than conventional candles. Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4″ to maintain slow even burning. Never leave burning candles unattended.
